Stations of Insomnia
“Stations of Insomnia” is a set of shadowbox-collages which (like its companion body of work, “Book of Hours”) explores the experience of chronic insomnia. Referencing the stations of the cross, the work shows how insomnia magnifies life’s problems and makes them the stuff of high drama depicted in medieval and Renaissance works.
