These pieces were made during and inspired by the early days of the pandemic -- strange, disorienting times when, faced with a potentially deadly disease about which little was known, we “locked down,” avoiding contact with other humans to the greatest extent possible. The microbial world -- unseen yet powerful – loomed large.
